Empowering Skills Training with Paper Bag

For five years, H&M Southeast Asia partnered with Dignity through a unique and impactful campaign. As part of their efforts to go green and reduce single-use bags, H&M charged RM0.20 for each paper bag - and channelled 100% of the proceeds to Dignity.

The funds raised supported several key initiatives: building a new F&B and baking training space, upgrading sew X dignity’s production team and operations, and strengthening Dignity’s Skills Training and Employability Program (STEP) for youth.

This long-term campaign not only promoted sustainability - it also gave H&M customers a meaningful way to contribute to education and skills development for underserved youth.

Bridging Skate Culture and Community

VANS partnered with Dignity to create a skatepark in harmony with nature at Dignity Farm Academy in Bentong, Pahang. Their goal was to introduce marginalised children and youth to skateboarding culture, helping them learn a new skill and build resilience.

The first granite skatepark in Malaysia was built in 2021. Since then, we have co-organized annual Skate Camps where our students gain confidence, practice teamwork, and grow stronger - both on and off the board.

Investing in Early Childhood Education

NOMURA has been supporting Dignity’s preschool education programme for three years (and counting), aligning with their CSR focus on early childhood development. Their funding helps cover essential operational costs, ensuring our youngest learners receive strong educational foundations in a safe, nurturing environment.

Beyond financial support, NOMURA’s local team volunteers at preschool events - bringing joy to the children and building meaningful connections. This partnership shows how companies can support specific programmes while also engaging their employees in long-term, purpose-driven impact.

Empowering Youth Through Football and WASH Education

For the past three years, Manchester City’s global community programme, Cityzens, and Xylem have partnered with Dignity through the Water Heroes Academy to empower young leaders in tackling water challenges.

Using the power of football and education, the partnership has delivered impactful WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) programmes, sports activities, and community events. Together, they have reached over 1,160 students - including children from Orang Asli communities - equipping them with knowledge, confidence, and leadership skills to make a difference.

Doubling the Impact for Children’s Education

AHAM has been a strong supporter of our Empower-A-Child programme. Wanting to have a bigger impact and support more students, they initiated and launched ‘Double the Impact: Empower-a-Child’ campaign - where every EAC sign up is matched by AHAM. A total of 102 employees signed up and with the matching support, a total of 47 students are fully sponsored and able to access quality education.

Expanding Access to the Arts

Through the Dream Up grant - an international programme by the BNP Paribas Foundation that promotes education through the arts, BNP Paribas has supported Dignity across three project cycles.

In the first cycle, the grant helped launch art X dignity, providing structured art programmes for our students in a proper art space. The second cycle supported photography and videography skills classes for youths. The current, third cycle is funding a new performing arts studio, giving students access to quality music education, singing and acting lessons.

Thanks to this ongoing partnership, over 1,900 students have been able to explore their creativity and grow through arts.

Bring Voices of Dignity Choir to Your Event

The Voice of Dignity is a multi-ethnic children’s choir made up of Orang Asal, Chinese, and Indian members.

With a contribution of RM3,000, you’ll help a child receive quality education and care and give the choir a chance to perform two songs for 15 minutes at your event.

Will our donation be tax-deductible?
Yes. Dignity for Children Foundation is a registered NGO in Malaysia, and donations are tax-exempt under Section 44(6) of the Income Tax Act 1967.
Donations to Tabung Pendidikan dan Kebajikan Dignity are exempted from income tax under subsection 44(6) Income Tax Act 1967.
