Safeguarding Policies
Dignity for Children Foundation is committed to ensuring every child is safe, respected, and protected from abuse, exploitation, and neglect. Our safeguarding policies require all staff, volunteers, partners, and associates to uphold the highest standards of child protection in line with the principles of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

1. Child Protection Policy and Procedures (C3P)
This policy outlines how we safeguard children in all programmes and activities. It sets clear standards for staff, volunteers, and partners to prevent harm, recognise risks, and respond appropriately to concerns involving the safety and well-being of children.
2. Protection from Sexual Exploitation & Abuse (PSEA) Policy
The PSEA Policy establishes a zero-tolerance approach to sexual exploitation and abuse. It defines expected conduct for staff, volunteers, and partners, and provides clear procedures for reporting and addressing any violations.
3. Whistleblower Protection Policy
This policy provides a safe and confidential process for employees, volunteers, partners, and stakeholders to report suspected misconduct or unethical behaviour. It ensures that individuals who raise concerns in good faith are protected and treated fairly throughout the reporting and investigation process.
4. Camp Child Protection Policy and Procedures (C3P)
The objective of this policy is to prevent any form of child abuse within Dignity Farm Academy and during any activities and camp at Dignity properties.
5. Misconduct Disclosure Scheme
Dignity is an implementing organisation of the Misconduct Disclosure Scheme and are committed to strengthening safeguarding through responsible recruitment and reference checks.
Dignity adheres to international humanitarian norms and best practices in child protection, safeguarding, and the prevention of sexual exploitation, and undergoes relevant audits and compliance processes through our partnership with United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
