Aina didn’t just learn to bake. She found where she belongs.
17 March 2026

Adjusting to life in Malaysia wasn’t easy. Speaking in English was hard at first. She struggled to express herself and often felt frustrated over small things.

For 3 years she’s been part of Dignity’s Secondary Empoloyability Training Programme, and is now interning at bake X dignity.

But she didn’t walk alone.

“My friends supported me a lot. Sometimes we even cried together. We always remind each other to keep going. My teachers are very patient and kind. They make sure that none of us are left behind.”

"I am so thankful I get to learn baking and the operational side of a business."

Our Raya goodies are prepared by Aina and fellow trainees under the guidance of professional bakers in a live production environment.

"What makes me happiest is knowing that something I helped bake is part of someone’s
Raya celebration. It feels like I’m celebrating with you too!"

Every purchase supports more students like Aina to receive structured skill training and real work experience. You’re not just buying cookies, you’re investing into someone’s future!
